About the Role
Our client, a music production company is seeking a mid-level industry expert with extensive experience in music making, mixing, and song structure for a single project. The task involves compiling, mixing, and improving an existing rock song. This remote position offers the potential for future collaboration based on the success of this initial project.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand the existing pieces of the song
- Compile the various elements into a cohesive track
- Mix the song to achieve a heavy(ish) rock style
- Provide creative input to improve the overall song structure and composition
- Ensure high-quality production that meets industry standards
Requirements
- Multiple years of experience in music production and mixing
- Proven track record in the rock music genre
- Strong understanding of song structure and composition
- Proficiency in industry-standard digital audio workstations (DAWs) and mixing software
- Ability to work independently and remotely
