About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled music producer and instrumentalist for a collaborative project to develop and produce a 9-song album. The project involves creating instrumental tracks for 8 original songs, reproducing 1 existing instrumental track, and finalising the album with mixing and mastering. The completed album is intended for free release on streaming platforms, with potential for future sale.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate to develop the overall project/band sound
• Compose and record 8 original instrumental tracks to complement existing vocal tracks
• Reproduce 1 existing instrumental track with minimal changes
• Record live instruments where possible, or use high-quality digital instruments as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience as a music producer and instrumentalist
• Strong composition skills across various musical instruments
• Proficiency in recording, mixing, and mastering techniques
• Familiarity with various audio file formats (MP3, WAV, OGG, MIDI)
