About the Role
We are partnering with a game production company in search of an experienced Audio Lead to spearhead the audio direction for an upcoming indie game. This fixed-term, 14-month role requires a skilled audio professional with deep expertise in game audio production, including music composition, sound design, and audio implementation. You’ll collaborate closely with the game development team to create immersive soundscapes that enhance gameplay and elevate the overall player experience. If you have a strong portfolio in game audio and a passion for indie game sound design, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the audio landscape of a new project.
Requirements
- Proven experience in game audio production, with a portfolio demonstrating expertise in music composition, sound design, and audio implementation
- Strong background in creating audio assets for games, with an emphasis on immersive and cohesive soundscapes
- Proficiency in industry-standard audio software and tools (e.g., Wwise, FMOD, Pro Tools)
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams, with a clear understanding of game production workflows
- Ability to work within project timelines and deliver high-quality audio under tight deadlines
