As an E-Commerce Marketing Specialist, the purpose is to improve the online shopping experience and boost sales using smart strategies.
Key responsibilities:
๐งพ Data Analysis and Experimentation: They're looking for someone with a keen interest in analysing data to understand customer behaviours and market trends. Your role involves using this data to conduct experiments and take actions that boost sales and enhance the overall customer experience.
๐ Conversion Optimisation: You should have intermediate to advanced skills in Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO). This means using strategies and tactics to increase the percentage of visitors to a website who take desired actions, such as making a purchase or signing up for a newsletter.
๐ Understanding of CAC/CLV Dynamics: A deep understanding of Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) is crucial. You'll need to balance the costs of acquiring new customers with the long-term value they bring. Focus on strategies that increase revenue over time through upselling and cross-selling.
๐ผ Email Marketing and Marketing Automation: Skills in email marketing and marketing automation are highly valued. You may use platforms like Klaviyo to manage customer data effectively, create targeted email campaigns, and drive sales through personalised communication.
Working Hours โฐ: Full time, from 9 AM to 5 PM Amsterdam, Paris time.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you need to have:
โ Previous Experience: 3-5 years of prior experience in a similar role.
โ Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data from various analytics platforms to inform decision-making and strategy development.
โ Experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Proven track record in optimising websites, landing pages, and digital campaigns to improve conversion rates.
โ Knowledge of User Experience (UX) Design: Understanding of UX principles to enhance website usability, leading to better conversion rates.
โ Proficiency in A/B and Multivariate Testing: Experience in conducting and analysing A/B or multivariate tests to determine the most effective strategies for conversion.
โ Technical Skills: Familiarity with web development basics, HTML/CSS, and content management systems. Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and CRO tools like Optimizely or VWO.
โ Strategic Planning Ability: Skill in developing and executing comprehensive digital conversion strategies aligned with business objectives.
โ Project Management Skills: Competency in managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines effectively.
โ Education: A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field can be advantageous.
