Full Job Description
We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) in delivering high-impact projects under the National Programs Branch. This opportunity is ideal for professionals looking to contribute to federal initiatives in IT services, program management, agile development, and database management.
Database Developer
- Support Oracle database administration, including design, optimization, and security hardening.
- Perform data analysis, develop data correction scripts, and ensure database integrity.
- Collaborate with software developers to integrate modern frameworks into existing systems.
Requirements: Extensive experience with Oracle databases, SQL/PL*SQL, and knowledge of database security best practices.
Scrum Master
- Facilitate agile development teams to deliver software projects in iterative cycles.
- Coordinate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure effective agile practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders to capture requirements and prioritize development efforts.
Requirements: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent, experience in leading agile teams, and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities across all roles:
- Support USACE's Program and Project Delivery Support Services with a focus on IT modernization.
- Adhere to DoD cybersecurity requirements and contribute to maintaining system Authority to Operate (ATO).
- Leverage cloud platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to enhance service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and meet aggressive deadlines.
Special Qualifications:
- Preferred Skills: Experience in Defense Business Systems (DBS), cloud computing (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS), and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST 800-53, RMF).
