About the Role

As Multimedia Marketing Manager, you play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to reach and engage salon and spa business owners through visual media.

This is a central role in the marketing organization where you create high-value video content in collaboration with the Content, Product, Demand Generation, and Design teams. The content you create will fuel our organic media channels, present and educate on the Mangomint product, and be used to reach new audiences through paid advertising channels. 

This requires a diverse skill set. On the one hand, you communicate the product’s value in explainer videos, feature overviews, and formats where strong storytelling is important. At the same time, you can create short-form, captivating product advertising videos.

The ideal candidate will combine creativity, technical proficiency, and strategic thinking to create impactful videos for the Mangomint website, TikTok, YouTube, ads, and other media channels. 

Mangomint is a design-first brand where attention to detail in execution is vital. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Content Creation: Produce high-quality multimedia content, including videos, animations, and other visual assets tailored to our brand and target audience
  • Video Pre-Production: Plan, research, organize, and problem-solve all elements necessary to set video projects up to be successful
  • Video Production: Capture quality film on location with customers, at events, and through partners
  • Video Editing: Utilize video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro + After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Davinci Resolve) to edit and enhance footage for maximum engagement and storytelling impact
  • Channel Adaptation: Maximize content distribution by converting video/image/animation designed for one channel into various social media platforms, including long and short-form videos on platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay abreast of emerging trends, viral content, and best practices in multimedia marketing, particularly on platforms like TikTok and YouTube, to inform content strategies and maintain relevance
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and content creation, to ensure alignment of messaging and consistency in brand representation

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Multimedia Design, Communications, Film Production, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience (4+ years) in multimedia content creation, video editing, and social media marketing
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro + After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent
  • Skills required to plan and execute small video productions, such as staging and shooting customer stories, live events, or group discussions. This includes interviewing video subjects while also managing camera, lighting, and audio equipment
  • Strong creative vision and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate brand messages into engaging multimedia content
  • Capacity to travel across the US to attend events or meetings when there is an opportunity to capture content
  • Detailed understanding of the nuances of creating, curating, and editing content specific to various social media platforms, particularly TikTok and YouTube, and maximizing engagement with their respective audiences
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive informed decision-making
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

The annual compensation range for this position is 90-110k.
