Media Planner and Buyer

Simpluris seeks to hire a Media Planner and Buyer. This is a 100% remote position, although candidates near our Costa Mesa, California, or Oviedo, Florida, campuses will have the option of working from those locations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. They are comfortable working towards high-level corporate objectives while responding to urgent needs from across the organization. They have the ability to juggle multiple assignments at once, while upholding a high quality of work and keen attention to detail.  Most importantly, they have excellent prioritization skills, ensuring delivery of all projects on time with the highest quality. The ideal candidate is solutions-oriented, and constantly learning and developing their marketing skillset, including staying up to date with industry and technology advancements.

Requirements

Job Summary

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Notice, the Simpluris Media Planner and Buyer is a critical contributor to Simpluris’ growing Legal Notification Department. The Media Planner and Buyer is responsible for

• Planning and buying digital media (including on social media platforms such as Facebook/Instagram and Reddit, as well as Search, and Programmatic Display).
• Manage print and radio advertising as needed
• Provide research and media pricing for client proposals
• Monitor, optimize, and report on the performance of all campaigns.
• Create digital ads for campaigns.
• May be asked to support Simpluris’ Marketing Department on specific projects.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communication with at least 3 years of media experience  
• Experience in Legal Administration or the desire to learn the industry
• Experience with planning and buying programmatic online display advertising
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex info clearly
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including paid social, paid search, content marketing, email marketing
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and optimize marketing campaigns using sound statistical methodologies and KPIs to leverage results to inform strategy
• Demand Side Platform (“DSP”) digital media buying (DV360, The Trade Desk, Choozle)
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Figma, or similar is a plus
• Plain language writing experience is a plus
