The Media Planning Intern will support our media planning team in managing advertising campaigns, developing media flowcharts, and assisting with ad receipt tracking and billing reconciliation. This internship is ideal for a junior-level candidate eager to learn the fundamentals of media planning in an agency setting and gain hands-on experience in digital and traditional media.
START DATE: JANUARY 2, 2025

Requirements
- Key Responsibilities
- Media Flowchart Creation and Maintenance: Assist the media planning team in building out and updating media flowcharts, ensuring all planned media activities are accurately documented and organized.
- Spec Sheet Development: Help create and compile spec sheets for media placements, detailing key requirements, deadlines, and creative specifications for campaigns.
- Billing and Ad Receipt Reconciliation: Support the media team in pulling ad receipts, tracking actual media spend, and assisting with billing reconciliations to ensure alignment between planned and actualized media investments.
- Research and Data Gathering: Conduct research on media opportunities, rates, and competitive activity, contributing to informed media planning decisions.
- Campaign Setup and Support: Assist in setting up media campaigns within platforms as needed, including but not limited to Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and programmatic platforms.
- Reporting Support: Aid in gathering campaign performance data and preparing preliminary reports for ongoing analysis and optimization.
- Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Media Studies, Business, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets is essential; experience with media planning or ad management platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager) is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to accurately track and document media details, spending, and campaign requirements.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working in a team environment.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to work with numbers, data, and spreadsheets, with a foundational understanding of basic financial tracking and reconciliation.
- Enthusiasm for Learning: Eager to gain hands-on experience in the field of media planning and develop skills in campaign management, media strategy, and advertising operations.
