Homesteading Family is a growing digital education company that is seeking a Marketing Associate with a strong background in direct response marketing. 

Duties and responsibilities

Our ideal candidate will have the ability to implement the marketing and promotion of digital education products, create and manage funnels, analyze and record promotion results, and utilize optimization strategies for campaign improvement. We’re looking for a data-driven individual with a strong background in digital marketing and sales funnel strategy who geeks out over marketing as much as we do. 

Along with this background and enthusiasm, we will be looking for someone who can work with our director of marketing to analyze and improve existing marketing funnels, develop creative solutions for extracting actionable data, and create and implement new strategies for our online educational classes and products. We strongly prefer a candidate who has experience working in Kajabi, specifically offer creation, landing page creation and funnel creation. Bonus points if you have some direct response copywriting experience!

Some marketers you should absolutely be familiar with are Dan Kennedy, Donald Miller, Russell Brunson, Jeff Walker, and Alex Hormozi. 

In order to do this well in our context, you will also need an enthusiasm for the knowledge and skills related to the homesteading lifestyle. Extra bonus points if you happen to have a passion for gardening, preserving, cooking or any other good ol’ traditional skills!

This is a flexible work remote (or work from the homestead, yay!!) position with general working hours being 9-5 Pacific Time.

You must be able to:

• Effectively gather and report data to drive decision making 
• Create and manage digital marketing campaigns
• Create and analyze sales funnels (experience in Kajabi preferred)
• Collaborate with director of marketing to execute on monthly promotions
• Bring creative ideas and solutions to hit marketing team goals 
• Report on campaign results 

• Monitor project statuses
• Schedule and manage email campaigns (experience in Kajabi preferred)

Requirements

• Proven experience (3+ years) in a digital marketing role
• Thorough understanding of direct response marketing 
• Experience with sales funnel creation 
• Excellent analytical skills to understand data, study metrics, and align strategies
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills 
• Creativity
• Collaborative spirit
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills

We’ll be prioritizing candidates who:

• Have worked extensively in Kajabi
• Have experience designing high-converting landing pages 
• Have a background in direct response copywriting
• Are familiar with homesteading!

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting pay at 55k - 65k (based on experience) annually with room for growth
• Paid Time Off: 5 days between Christmas and New Year’s, and 40 hours vacation time plus 40 hours sick time annually.
