About the Position:
At Skin Clique, we prioritize seamless onboarding and compliance to ensure our healthcare providers can deliver exceptional patient care. As the Manager of Onboarding and Compliance, you'll oversee the development and execution of strategies aimed at optimizing the onboarding experience and maintaining regulatory standards. Collaboration will be key as you work closely with various departments to streamline processes, manage documentation, and ensure legal compliance. Your leadership will extend to fostering relationships with physicians, supporting onboarding functions, and managing state and federal regulatory requirements. By continuously evaluating and refining our onboarding and compliance programs, you'll ensure our commitment to excellence and patient care remains unwavering.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
The Manager of Onboarding and Compliance will design, implement, and manage all onboarding processes and compliance protocols to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
New Provider Onboarding:
- Ensure providers sign up for and complete neuromodulator training in a timely manner.
- Assess and address any gaps in the onboarding process to enhance the overall experience for new providers.
- Support new provider onboarding, including paperwork and license verification.
- Manage documentation and processes for new provider onboarding.
- Coordinate medical supervision and partnerships with supervising physicians.
- Handle DEA and state-level coordination for providers.
- Collaborate with People Operations to ensure alignment of onboarding processes with organizational policies and procedures.
- Foster efficient onboarding processes with key attention to time of onboard and time of clinical practice launch.
- Interface with medical malpractice insurance during onboarding and offboarding.
Regulatory and Compliance:
- Maintain and update regulatory information from diverse sources, including NPDB, applicants, and malpractice insurance companies.
- Ensure accurate records for all physicians and advanced practice providers.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of documents for state regulatory compliance.
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws, rules, and procedures.
- Ensure legal compliance with state laws.
- Identify and rectify discrepancies in documentation and information.
- Collaborate with the legal team on tasks such as market research for new state regulations.
- Conduct regular credentialing checks to ensure compliance.
- Address and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Supervision and Relationship Management:
- Foster enduring relationships with physicians.
- Provide ongoing support and address inquiries or concerns.
- Monitor and fulfill monthly supervision requirements.
- Coordinate provider and supervising physician oversight and compliance, ensuring organization is upholding state supervision requirements.
- Assist physicians and providers throughout the credentialing process.
Regulatory Body Management:
- Develop and manage streamlined state registration and annual filing processes.
- Mediate between insurance carriers and the practice for medical malpractice coverage.
- Partner with external vendors and the finance team to support state tax filing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Proven experience in healthcare operations, onboarding, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements and processes.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to manage tasks efficiently and ensure accuracy.
- Proven leadership in driving provider onboarding, streamlining strategies, and addressing gaps for seamless processes, with demonstrated experience fostering improvement in training logistics.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and cross-functionally to implement onboarding and training initiatives.
- Comfort with technology, with proven ability to utilize digital platforms for onboarding sessions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
