The Role:
As the Manager of Market and Consumer Insights you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product roadmap and go-to-market strategies. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive market research including via first party and secondary research processes, analyzing industry trends, and gathering actionable insights to guide decision-making across the organization. This role requires a blend of analytical expertise, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the technology landscape.
What You'll Do:
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
- Customer Insights: Utilize various research methodologies, including surveys, interviews, and focus groups, to gather insights into customer preferences, pain points, and behavior.
- Product Development Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate market insights into product requirements and features that address customer needs and align with business objectives.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to identify threats and opportunities, providing recommendations to maintain our competitive edge.
- Strategic Recommendations: Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making around key investments, product pricing, among, among other things.
- Data-driven Decision Making: Establish metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, product launches, and overall business performance, leveraging data to optimize strategies over time.
- Evangelize: Work with leadership to foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in market research, with at least 5 to 7 years experience working in SaaS or other B2B company.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey findings and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in market research tools and methodologies, as well as data analysis and visualization tools.

The base pay range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. The base salary range is applicable across the United States and the offered rate may vary based on factors such as experience, education, market conditions, and location.
