Position Description
We are seeking a Manager of Business Intelligence to join our Business Intelligence Analytics Team. This position will report to the Director of Business Intelligence. You will be responsible for translating data into actionable insights for our company. The role collaborates with business and technical stakeholders to better understand goals and objectives. This is a remote position, but will require occasional travel to our Downtown Phoenix office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies, plans, and processes to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of BI services.
- Lead the design, build, and deploy BI solutions based on business needs.
- Oversee the maintenance, support, and improvement of existing BI systems and data analytics platforms.
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting to identify areas of improvement in current operations.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders that drive business decisions.
- Create reports, dashboards, stories, and visualizations for requested projects.
- Ensure that data is collected, organized, and analyzed in a way that makes it easy for everyone in the company to access and use.
- Stay abreast of new security threats and ensure that data is kept safe and secure.
- Recommend changes to current business processes to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Assure coordination across multiple business groups to source accurate, efficient, and relevant data.
- Proactively identify business challenges and opportunities through data analysis and work with business leaders to find strategic solutions.

Requirements
Required
- At least 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
- Experience managing and leading teams, including hiring and training new team members
- Proficiency with data visualization tools, specifically PowerBI.
- Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g., Microsoft Power Platforms, Tableau, QlikView).
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
Preferred
- Advanced SQL skills; familiarity with No-SQL databases.
- Experience creating and maintaining ETL pipelines and automation.
- Understanding of data lake architecture and design principles.
- Familiarity with DevOps CI/CD implementation and agile methodologies.
- Exceptional collaborative abilities, with a talent for navigating fluid environments and embracing change.
