About the Role
Our client is seeking a logo designer to create three band name logos stylised in a calligraphic gothic aesthetic. The project requires a standard logo version, followed by two variations that incorporate unique features. The client has provided visual references to guide the desired aesthetic.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the client to understand their vision and the specific requirements for the three band name logos
- Review the provided visual references to capture the calligraphic gothic style
- Design a standard version of each band name logo that adheres to the specified aesthetic
- Develop two unique variations of each logo that incorporate distinctive elements, while maintaining the overall calligraphic gothic theme
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in logo design, with a portfolio showcasing expertise in calligraphic and gothic-inspired styles
- Proficiency in vector graphics software, such as Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and branding principles
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the client
