The Logistics Manager at Estructure, Inc. is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the supply chain and logistics processes to ensure efficient operations. This role entails managing the logistics team, coordinating with suppliers and distributors, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of logistics management, including transportation, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement logistics strategies that optimize the supply chain while reducing operational costs.
• Oversee the logistics team and ensure effective performance through training, mentoring, and evaluation.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers to streamline logistics operations and improve service quality.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage warehouse operations, ensuring timely stock replenishment and accurate order fulfillment.
• Analyze data and metrics related to logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and operational efficiencies.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with shipping and logistics service providers to ensure favorable rates and terms.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies regarding transportation and logistics.
• Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance overall supply chain effectiveness.
• Prepare and present reports on logistics performance and cost management to senior management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles, practices, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in logistics software and systems, as well as data analysis and reporting tools.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable strategies for improvement.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and transportation regulations.
