Chicago Cornea Consultants, LTD is seeking a highly efficient and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of inventory and supplies across our practice locations. This position is for a full-time experienced Logistics Coordinator who can demonstrate proficiency in supply chain management, inventory control, and coordination of logistics operations. Experience working in a healthcare or medical setting is preferred.

The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational and multitasking skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure. Strong communication skills are essential, as the Logistics Coordinator will interact with vendors, healthcare professionals, and other staff members to ensure timely deliveries and efficient inventory management.

We are looking for a Full-time Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The Logistics Coordinator will oversee the procurement and distribution of medical supplies and equipment for our practice. This includes coordinating with vendors, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of supplies to our various locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of medical supplies and equipment
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of necessary items
  • Coordinate logistics operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify supply needs and ensure appropriate stock levels
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and update inventory management systems
  • Prepare and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and optimize supply chain efficiency
  • Assist with vendor contract negotiations and evaluate supplier performance

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and inventory control
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
