Logistics Analyst - Remote

USFS is an ISO 9001 management consulting firm with headquarters in the National Capital Region and offices and staff in 12 US states.  USFS staff average 10+ years of professional experience, over 80 percent of our staff have bachelor’s degrees, and over half have advanced degrees in business and technology. USFS was founded in 2010 and provides financial management, acquisition management, program management, and data analytic support services to federal and state governments. US Federal Solutions is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to join our team remotely. This position plays a critical role in supporting our federal clients by analyzing and optimizing logistics operations and supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze logistics data to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate logistics activities and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on logistics metrics and performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage supply chain processes to maintain operational excellence.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legislative changes affecting logistics operations.
• Provide support in logistics planning for DOD projects.
• Mentoring and coaching of junior team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics analysis or supply chain management preferred
• Experience as active duty or reserve US Air Force NCO or Officer with mobility, logistics and supply chain expertise preferred
• Strong proficiency in logistics software and tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with federal agencies is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Active and adjudicated Secret or Top Secret Security clearance
