Chicago Cornea Consultants, LTD is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Administrative Manager to join our team. As a leading ophthalmology practice, we are committed to delivering exceptional eye care services to our patients. As a Logistics Administrative Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the administrative aspects of our logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of inventory and supplies across our practice locations. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders will contribute to our goal of providing the highest standard of care and service.

This position is for a full-time experienced Logistics Administrative Manager who can demonstrate proficiency in supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics administration. Experience working in a healthcare or medical setting is preferred.

The ideal candidate must have excellent organizational and multitasking skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure. Strong communication skills are essential, as the Logistics Administrative Manager will interact with vendors, healthcare professionals, and other staff members to ensure timely deliveries, efficient inventory management, and proper document control.

Job Function

• Increase efficiency and processes within the warehouse and transportation operation

• Provide administrative support to the Warehouse Director and Supply Chain Analyst

• Oversees the day-to-day administrative Warehouse duties

• Organize data to track and report KPI’s

• Support Supervisory staff with employee’s time and attendance issues

• Provide support and documentation to inbound/outbound carriers

• Verifies, reviews, and tracks incoming invoices while working to ensure timely payment of invoices

• Maintains and manages shipment documentation

• Prioritizes, manages, organizes, and responds to daily influx of emails

• Create and manage Excel files and reports

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Logistics Administrative Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and inventory control
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Experience in logistics administration, including document control and compliance
