Boys & Girls Clubs of El Paso is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Live Chat Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional online customer support through live chat channels. If you have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and enjoy helping others, we would love for you to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about our programs and services through live chat.
- Assist customers with any issues or problems they may encounter and find appropriate solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding and addressing customer needs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while engaging with customers.
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex customer issues.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, services, and promotions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven customer service experience, preferably in a live chat or online support role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and handle multiple live chat conversations simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in using live chat software and other customer support tools.
- Positive and friendly attitude with a strong customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
