Current Vacancy:
- Colebrookdale Elementary School
Position Summary:
- The hourly pay rate to work on assignment in Boyertown Area School District is $15 per hour
- Schedule: 8:10AM - 3:40PM; 7 paid hours per day, following BASD academic calendar year
- Classification: 10-month position, 193 days
- 8 days of paid time off (prorated if hired after the school year begins)
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks
- Communication skills with staff, teachers, students, families as needed to pull books, recommend books, etc.
- Utilization of computer and learning how to use Destiny to check out and process books
- Position involves sitting, standing, lifting piles of books, bending, pushing carts of books
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the principal and /or school staff
- On time, regular and consistent attendance is essential to performing successfully in this role
Requirements
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree - preferred
- Minimum 2 years of related clerical experience
- Attention to detail, strong organization skills a plus. Will be trained for library usage
Credentials:
(Clearances current within 12 months)
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance
- PA Department of Education FBI – Use code 1KG6XN
- TB Screening - current within 3 months
- Education Documentation - Diploma OR Official Transcripts
