Full Job Description

The Learning Experience Developer brings our mission to life through conceptualization, design, development, and implementation of Creative Learning Systems products. This includes the creation of new learning content, maintenance of products in market and ideation related to future developments and product releases. Learner experiences are outcomes-driven, standards- aligned, and leverage innovative, research-based methods. The successful Learning Experience Developer is a strong communicator and collaborator who is also self-motivated and able to work independently, practice attention to detail, and exhibit a team approach. 

Requirements

Duties And Responsibilities 

  • Create engaging and dynamic student and teacher learning experiences that align to the overarching curriculum framework.  
  • Apply research-based pedagogical strategies and best practices in STEM education to design effective instructional materials that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. 
  • Design formative and summative assessments to measure student learning outcomes and evaluate the effectiveness of instructional materials and learning experiences. 
  • Collaborate with multimedia developers to produce inclusive and compelling media resources aimed at enhancing student participation and comprehension. 
  • Participate in quality assurance reviews for peer developers.   
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and research in STEM education to inform the development of innovative teaching strategies and curriculum enhancements.

Education and Experience

  • Degree in Education with focus in STEM or EdTech and/or K-8 Curriculum Design 
  • Design and delivery of formal and/or informal teacher professional development 
  • Proficiency using learning management systems and e-learning authoring tools 
  • Expertise in Learning Design Theory 
  • Familiarity with K-8 STEM Standards  
  • Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge 
  • Proven track record of commitment to quality work and continuous improvement with adherence to deadlines. 
  • Experience with candid communication and peer review, not shying away from productive conflict to give team members the information they need to grow and thrive. 
  • Experience developing with an agile mindset with constant effort to find efficiencies and improvements in processes, products, and team dynamics.
