About the Role
Our client is seeking a beginner-level Video Editor to assist in editing a documentary video for a class assignment. The project involves working remotely. The ideal candidate should have some experience in editing video essays and be comfortable working with a tight budget of $150. This is a short-term project with a one-week duration.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and compile footage into a cohesive documentary video, following the guidelines provided by the student group.
- Work closely with the group members to understand their vision and incorporate their feedback into the final edit.
- Apply basic video effects, transitions, and titles to enhance the documentary.
- Ensure the final video is rendered in the appropriate format.
Requirements
- Experience: Basic experience in video editing, with a preference for those who have edited video essays or similar projects.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Availability: Must be available to work remotely for the duration of the project and meet the deadline.
