About the Role

Our client is seeking a junior-level music producer to collaborate on creating an indie pop instrumental. This short-term, remote project aims to produce a backing track for the student's lyrics.

Responsibilities:

• Create an original indie pop instrumental suitable for lyrical accompaniment
• Collaborate remotely with the student to understand their vision for the song
• Produce a high-quality backing track using appropriate software and tools
• Incorporate feedback and make revisions as needed within the project timeframe
• Deliver the final instrumental in a format suitable for further songwriting and potential recording

Requirements

• Junior-level experience in music production, with a focus on indie pop or related genres
• Proficiency in digital audio workstations and music production software
• Basic understanding of song structure, arrangement, and indie pop genre conventions
• Ability to create professional-quality instrumentals within a short timeframe
• Strong communication skills for effective remote collaboration
