We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will collaborate with our Art Director, designers, and the rest of our marketing team to create visual assets that captivate our audience and convey our brand message effectively. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in graphic design within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design Creation: Assist in the creation of visual content for various platforms including digital ads, illustrations, sales collateral, print materials, booth designs, swag, and slide decks.
- Concept Development: Brainstorm and develop design concepts that align with project goals and client requirements.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Google Slides and other design tools to create high-quality graphics and layouts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our art director, designers, and cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet brand standards and project objectives.
- Feedback Incorporation: Receive feedback and make revisions to designs based on input from team members, clients, or stakeholders.
- Creative Research: Stay updated on design trends, techniques, and software to continually improve skills and enhance design solutions.
- Organization and Documentation: Maintain organized files, project documentation, and design assets for easy access and reference.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in graphic design.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Google Slides.
- Basic understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Portfolio showcasing design projects or coursework.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the SaaS/Software industry is a plus.
- Strong passion for graphic design and eagerness to learn and grow in the field.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Motion graphics experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design guidelines and specifications.
- Positive attitude, willingness to take on new challenges, and ability to adapt to change.
