About the Role
We are seeking a junior 2D animator for a client. This personal project involves crafting a 2-minute video that narrates a love story. The animator will work remotely to produce this heartfelt and personalised video within a one-week timeframe, using provided photos and existing recordings.
Responsibilities:
- Create a 2-minute 2D animated short film
- Develop a storyboard based on the client's story and provided references
- Animate characters and scenes using provided photos and recordings
- Design and animate additional elements to enhance the narrative
- Incorporate music and sound effects to complement the animation
Requirements
- Basic proficiency in 2D animation techniques and software (e.g., Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or similar)
- Ability to create character animations from static images
- Basic understanding of storytelling through animation
- Familiarity with incorporating photos and recordings into animated content
- Strong creative skills and attention to detail
