IRA Operations Associate

The IRA Operations Associate is an integral part of our support team and reports directly to the Vice President of IRA Operations. This person will be responsible for supporting the operations of Unchained’s IRA onboarding, which guides clients through setting up their account, processing order forms, and educating about multisig and collaborative custody with Unchained Capital.

We expect the IRA Operations Associate to be a point of contact for clients going through the onboarding process, supporting the trading operations, client orders, ensuring tasks are completed, and pinpointing any bottlenecks. The right person for this role can relate to clients and has a general understanding of retirement accounts, private keys and multi-signature.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Support coordinating the IRA operations flow, which includes working with clients to ensure that paperwork is completed and processed accurately
• Directly support client questions and inquiries related to the IRA product across multiple channels such as phone and email.
• Outreach to clients that are stuck in the process 
• Support multiple systems to ensure clients are moved through in a timely manner

WHO YOU ARE:

• You have 2+ years of experience in a client facing role
• You have 2+ years of experience in retirement account administration, financial services, or a related field
• You are detail-oriented and ability to multitask
• You have client services and/or operations experience 
• You have an understanding of the economic implications of bitcoin
• You have an interest in private keys and the technology behind bitcoin

• You have experience working across cross-functional teams and time zones
• You have a technical background
• You have an understanding of bitcoin wallets and multisig
