Planet Argon is looking for a creative and dependable remote intern to help us with our business-side marketing efforts, focusing on a combination of fundamental knowledge and practical skills that are highly valued in the digital marketing industry. You’ll work on real projects, collaborate with team members, and analyze campaign performance to gain a deeper understanding of digital marketing practices. In this role, you’ll support our Marketing Coordinator in sales and marketing efforts related to: content marketing, email marketing, social media, SEO optimization, podcast promotions, Analytics, and even some fun team projects.

Responsibilities Overview
As a Digital Marketing Intern, You Would Learn How to:
- Research and write SEO-driven content that attracts views and engagement
- Help promote upcoming podcast episodes and re-promote past episodes
- Review & edit blog posts written by technical team members
- Create engaging social media content, and use analytics tools to measure the performance
- Create and remix social media and blog graphics using Canva
- Optimize blog content and landing pages for search engines, and promote it through various channels
- Use Hubspot to set up email marketing strategies, design effective email campaigns, write compelling copy, and analyze email marketing metrics.
- Experiment with company social media posts on LinkedIn, X, and Instagram.
- Repurpose marketing content into new forms, i.e., a blog post into a slide deck or video.
- Use data analysis and analytics tools like GA4 to track website traffic, interpret data, and use that as benchmarks for future decision-making.

Fine Details
- This is a remote position. Candidates must have a computer and reliable internet access for this role.
- You must have the permanent, legal right to work in the US. We do not sponsor visas.
- This is a ~20-25 hour/week internship position.
- This internship term is for 8 weeks, with specific start and end dates to be determined upon offer (but you can expect early July 2024).
