Full Job Description

Success in this role looks like:

  • Hitting or exceeding revenue targets through cold calling when leads are not available.  
  • Gaining a deep knowledge of the payments industry, as well as our range of products and services.  
  • Working mostly autonomously, managing your schedule to make the most effective use of your time.

Core Responsibilities

  • Mastering and implementing the Gravity Payments sales process in order to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales commitments.  
  • Lead the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting to closing new business.
  • Actively identify, engage, and generate meetings with prospects through strategic B2B phone and email prospecting and networking
  • Lead and facilitate meetings with prospects that involve in-depth qualifying and assessment, product discovery, presentation, and decision meetings
  • Collaborate internally with multiple departments to assess full scope of product and financial offerings for prospects 
  • Maintaining a healthy sales pipeline with activity and follow up
  • Fully accountable for delivering on revenue commitments
  • Responsible for maintaining relationships with a portfolio of signed and active clients
  • Act as a representative of Gravity at conferences and events

Requirements

  • Proven experience consistently achieving results
  • Capacity to develop and deliver multi mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences 
  • Prior experience in a consensus driven culture
  • Effectively build formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization
  • Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
  • Builds trust quickly and communicates clearly 

Technical requirements: 

  • Must have access to a wired internet connection
  • Must have access to at least a 25 megabits per second (mbps) download and 20 mbps upload speed connection

The salary for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. We may be open to negotiating outside of this range if the desired salary aligns with the needs of the candidate and company. This is a salaried position with no commission.
