Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance WMS systems using Informix 4GL and related tools.
- Provide AIX (UNIX) development and support to ensure robust system performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design, test, and deploy software updates and enhancements.
- Utilize your knowledge of Informix database management systems to optimize performance and reliability.
- Communicate complex IT programming concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Support voice application integrations and related functionalities to improve system usability.
- Work closely with management to align system capabilities with business needs.
Requirements
Requirements
- Must live in the US.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in application systems analysis and programming.
- Proficiency in Informix 4GL development and Informix database management systems.
- Strong expertise in AIX (UNIX) development and support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, MS Project, and Visio.
Preferred skills
- Experience with WMS application software, especially Infor WMS2000 (Dallas System, EXE).
- Voice application experience to support integrations and enhancements.
- Familiarity with advanced software development lifecycle practices.
