Requirements

  • Become a HotDocs Subject Matter Expert in our products’ features, benefits, and applications and how they can help support client needs.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs and objectives.
  • Serve as the technical expert during sales engagements, answering technical questions, and overcoming objections with a focus on our solutions’ benefits and differentiators.
  • Analyze client requirements, conceptualize possible solutions, and tailor demonstrations to customer needs.
  • Carry out engaging and informative product demonstrations with clients and prospects, showcasing the capabilities of HotDocs, highlighting key features, functionalities, and benefits to effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Engage with clients to address technical questions, provide solution recommendations, and overcome obstacles. Foster strong relationships with clients based on trust, credibility, and expertise.
  • Develop strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, engineering, and support. Provide valuable insights and feedback to inform product development and enhancements.
  • Respond and take ownership of technical responses for RFIs / RFPs.
  • Attend industry events, conferences and on-site client meetings where required.
  • Prepare and present technical proposals, reports, and documentation to stakeholders, clearly outlining the solution, implementation plan, and business value

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Technical: A wide experience of technical aspects such as databases, networking, application implementation is desirable. Any experience as a software engineer or in a similar role would be advantageous, but not essential, including experience of Web Technologies, Web Architecture, Cloud hosting Architecture.
  • Pre-sales Experience: 2 + years’ experience working in a pre-sales position.
  • Communication: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to formulate coherent arguments, describe possible solutions and deliver them to multiple stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding. Experience in product demonstrations and/or working directly with potential clients in a pre-sales process.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple and diverse tasks simultaneously.
  • Time Management: Must be able to manage workload, prioritize and make decisions as to what needs to be completed and when.
  • Teamwork: Must be able to work within a team environment.
  • Problem Solving: Must be able to logically step through complex problems and to articulate the possible solutions.
  • Self-Directed: Must be a motivated person with the ability to take high level concepts and translate them into actionable work tasks.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with job posting disclosure requirements.

Pay range: $70,000 - $85,000 . Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operations business needs.

Depending on the position, compensation may also include commission, bonuses, etc. Potential for bonuses is based on company performance and potential for merit increases is based on performance.
