About the Role

The primary objectives of the Americas Core Banking Solution Leader are to:

1. Build and Lead a High-Performance Team to Implement Cutting-Edge Core Banking Solutions 

• Team Leadership and Development: Assemble and lead a team of core banking thought leaders, developers, and implementation specialists across Canada, Mexico, and the United States. 
• Collaborative Innovation: Establish collaborative partnerships to co-innovate in product development initiatives, unlocking additional revenue streams, driving innovation, and fostering long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. 
   

2. Grow Existing Business and Drive Innovation 

• Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Work with the sales leadership team to build and maintain solid relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, partners and internal teams, to ensure the success of a portfolio of projects.
• Strategic Cloud Solutions Deployment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and optimize cloud-based core banking solutions, leveraging industry best practices and providing thought leadership on cloud architecture, security, and compliance specific to the banking industry. 
• Continuous Improvement and Trend Adaptation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to enhance and evolve cloud strategies continuously. Drive process improvement and integrate cutting-edge technologies within the banking space.

Responsibilities on top of the two key tasks from above Summary 

• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Design, deploy, and optimize core banking solutions, leveraging industry best practices. 
• Manage and Build the Team: Oversee and enhance a team of core banking thought leaders, developers, and implementation specialists. 
• Provide Thought Leadership: Offer guidance on cloud architecture, security, and compliance in the banking industry. 
• Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure project success. 
• Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Continuously update knowledge on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Experience building and managing high-performance implementation teams in the core banking space. 
• In-depth knowledge of core banking platforms and processes within the banking industry. 
• Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements. 
• Proven Experience leading implementations for core banking-related projects focusing on medium and large customers. 
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives. 
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. 
• Experience driving innovation and process improvements within cloud implementations. 
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in the banking and cloud computing space. 
• Certifications in cloud technologies and banking industry practices are a plus.
