Full Job Description
JeffreyM is looking for a creative and dynamic Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a strong understanding of social media platforms. You will be responsible for creating content that captures our brand’s voice to resonate with our online community. Your designs will be the face of our social media presence, driving user engagement and enhancing our digital footprint. This role involves conceptualizing and executing designs for various platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, and an ability to work under deadlines are essential. If you have a portfolio that showcases your flair for vibrant, attention-grabbing graphics, we would love to hear from you.
**This is a contract position starting July 1st through June 30, 2025 with a chance to extend**
Responsibilities
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously in various design phases – concept, design, production edits, and final.
- Own all designs, creations and handoffs for designated brand.
- Ideate in partnership with community team and strategy team for trending opportunities
- Create a variety of content to best serve the audiences and goals of each platform
- Polished client presentation skills demonstrating a clear vision of how the work addresses the client challenge.
- Understanding of various social static and digital display banner formats and sizes.
Requirements
- Degree in graphic design, advertising or related field.
- 2+ years of graphic design experience, an agency setting preferred. Tech experience a plus
- Highly efficient with Adobe Creative Cloud – Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Video or animation skills a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft programs – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Teams and AI tools a plus.
- Strong grasp of design fundamentals – color, composition, typography.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your creative skills and versatility.
- Ability to work well under pressure in an environment of rapidly changing deadlines and priorities.
- Must be comfortable working on brands that may require a certain level of discretion or confidentiality.
- Experience with project management tools is a plus, but not required.
Benefits
Compensation Range: $50,000-$60,000/yr
**This pay range is Client-specific for the opening advertised. The identity of the Client will be disclosed if you are selected to move forward in the hiring process.
