About the Role

Our client, a film and TV production company is seeking to hire a mid-level graphic designer. The project involves creating a pitch deck for a preteen animated TV series, including colourful cartoon animation designs. The desired style is a creative, modern 2D rendered look, similar to Patrick Nagel's style and complementing the feel of Into the Spider-Verse. While this is a single job, there is potential for follow-up work, contingent upon the successful completion of this project. The client is open to receiving offers but prioritizes prompt completion.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the project requirements, themes, and target audience for the preteen animated TV series
• Design visually appealing and engaging pitch deck slides featuring colorful cartoon animation designs
• Incorporate a modern, 2D rendered style inspired by Patrick Nagel's artwork and the Into the Spider-Verse film
• Showcase character designs, storyboards, and visual concepts that capture the essence of the series

Requirements

• Mid-level experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing animation and character design work
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Expertise in creating pitch decks, presentations, and visual storytelling
• Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and layout design principles
