Symmetrio is recruiting for our client, an innovative startup specializing in cutting-edge software solutions for radiation oncology. The company is poised for significant growth and are looking for a dynamic leader to spearhead global sales efforts from it’s European base.
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Global Sales/Sales Operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams within the startup environment and will have successfully driven companies to acquisition or IPO. This role is critical to the company’s growth strategy and offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of the company. Equity participation is included in the compensation package.
This position is based in Europe, but candidates from the United States are also welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive global sales strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Identify and prioritize key markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities.
- Drive revenue growth and market penetration through innovative sales tactics and strategic partnerships.
Team Building and Management:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a world-class global sales team.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Set clear performance metrics and ensure team members meet and exceed targets.
Startup Experience:
- Leverage extensive startup experience to navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of a high-growth environment.
- Implement scalable sales processes and systems to support rapid expansion.
Market Expertise:
- Maintain a deep understanding of the radiation oncology industry, including market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
- Collaborate with the product development team to align sales efforts with product innovation and customer needs.
Growth and Exit Strategy:
- Play a key role in positioning the company for acquisition or IPO.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential investors, acquirers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide strategic input to the executive team and board of directors on growth and exit strategies.
Requirements
- Proven track record of leading and scaling sales teams in a startup environment.
- Demonstrated success in driving companies to acquisition or IPO.
- Extensive experience in the radiation oncology or healthcare software industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
