About the Role:

As STAT continues to grow and onboard more retailers, we are expanding our team to meet the increasing demands on our data infrastructure. We are looking for a skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer with a strong emphasis on data structure, ETL processes (Extract, Transform, Load), and data warehousing to join our team. This role is essential as we work to consolidate large volumes of data from different retailers into a common format, allowing us to provide robust analytics and data management solutions. With our system heavily reliant on data, we need someone with deep expertise in data management and integration. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our software offerings, acting as a technical expert in both data structure implementation and full-stack development. Your contributions will be key in ensuring that as we scale to more retailers, our data systems remain cohesive and efficient.

What You’ll Do:  

Full-Stack Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain STAT’s web based .NET applications
  • Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including design, coding, testing, deploying, and maintaining STAT software platforms

Database and Data Development

  • Design and implement scalable data systems, data pipelines, and ETL processes utilizing SQL and NoSQL (i.e Cosmos DB) to handle large amounts of data in a Microsoft Azure environment
  • Optimize STAT’s data warehouse to support robust analytics and reporting by internal STAT teams and to external customers
  • Create logical data models for existing and new systems to allow analysis and operating on data from multiple sources
  • Develop and maintain backup, restore, and security processes for STAT’s data environment
  • Assess and continuously improve STAT’s best practices for data governance, quality, performance, and management

Who You Are: 

Our team is full of highly motivated individuals, and we hope that you are too!

  • 5+ years of experience with database engineering and administration, preferably in a SQL environment
  • Significant experience with data integration and ETL
  • 5+ years of experience as a developer in client-centered environments with at least 2 years of experience building server-side applications with C#/.NET
  • Front-end experience with VueJS a bonus, but not required
  • You are self-motivated and are happy to manage your own workload
  • You enjoy taking a loosely defined problem and coming up with elegant solutions
  • Flexible and eager to take on different tasks and challenges as they pop up
