Fullstack Engineer - DeFi

Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Fullstack Engineer - DeFi - candidates need to be based in US/Canada.

We're building the leading trading and yield platform for DeFi. Founded by former Coinbase employees, our team brings deep expertise in algorithmic trading and DeFi. We're backed by top-tier institutional investors from both traditional finance and crypto.

Who You Are

• You're excited rather than intimidated to work on a complex trading backend that will manage billions of dollars in crypto transactions.
• You're skilled at developing high-performance front-end applications to meet a high bar for UX.
• You have a passion for DeFi and enjoy learning about new protocols.
• You grasp the solution space trade-off of implementation speed vs long-term quality and can dynamically adjust as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own feature implementations end-to-end from the UI components down to the database schema.
• Build systems for transacting and consuming onchain data across multiple blockchains and their protocols (e.g. AMMs, onchain orderbooks, lending protocols).
• Design, build, and test high-throughput execution components across the entire stack.
• Manage deployment processes and infrastructure to maintain uptime and deliver a high-quality product.

Requirements

Minimum of 3-5 years of proven professional experience in software engineering, ideally within a leading or highly reputable organization.

Extensive experience w/ react, familiarity with backend languages like Rust/Golang.

Passionate about crypto and familiarity with Onchain development.

Based in US or Canada. US hours - strong preference for NYC area.

Strong experience developing high-performance front-end applications.
