Full Stack Developer

You will work closely with our team of developers, designers, and project managers to ensure the successful implementation of our software solutions. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end software solutions, encompassing both front-end and back-end components within UKI's technology stack.
• Utilize Node.js, TypeScript, and Angular/React to build high-quality, responsive, and scalable web applications.
• Read, understand, and communicate software architecture designs, requirements, and implementations supporting enterprise scale solutions.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability of UKI’s software by writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Work across multiple facets of projects and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployments.
• Configure and manage CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Write infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to streamline development workflows and improve deployment processes.
• Review and debug code to maintain quality and usage of best practices.
• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to validate software functionality.
• Actively participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.

Requirements

• 6+ years proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer
• 5+ years experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• 5+ years experience with Kubernetes monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana,
• 5+ years using Node / Typescript
• 5+ years of experience building single page web applications
• 5+ years of experience with a front-end Javascript framework (e.g., Angular or React)
• Deep knowledge working with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
• Experience deploying to AWS or other cloud platform
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development roles, with demonstrable expertise in Kubernetes and containerization.
• Previous experience designing, implementing, and maintaining production-grade applications deployed on Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience scripting pipelines with CI/CD tools (e.g. Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jenkins or similar)
• NOTE: due to the sensitive nature of UKI's business, all candidates will be required to undergo federal, state, and local background checks.
