Full Stack Developer

Aretum is seeking a skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both frontend and backend components of web applications.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions. You will work with modern technologies and frameworks to build scalable and efficient web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of React 17 or 18 frameworks
• Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with front-end build tools
• Experience with RESTful APIs and data management using tools like RxJS and Redux
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing using tools such as Jasmine and Protractor
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git

Requirements

• Strong experience with React 17/18
• 5+ years of experience with full-stack development, including understanding UI frameworks and backend architecture interactions
• 5+ year of experience with React to create frontend web experiences
• 5+ years of experience with backend coding in Java and/or Python
• Solid knowledge of Agile Scrum development methodologies
• Excellent issue resolution skills within open-source products
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• AWS cloud-based development experience
• Experience with Docker, containerized applications, and microservice-based architecture
• Looking for self-motivated and fast learners

Desired

• Professional experience with Angular
• Exposure to open-source software implementation such as FOLIO
• Experience creating custom website presence ideally for Federal agency public websites
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.2 and Section 508 accessibility standards
