About the Role

An upcoming rapper based in Palo Seco or Sirparia, Trinidad & Tobago, is seeking a skilled hip-hop songwriter for a personal project. The objective is to create a hip-hop song with a fun, bad, cool vibe that has the potential to attract millions of views and listens. The desired style should incorporate elements of gangsterism, sexiness, and coolness. This is a full-time, long-term contract position, and the freelancer will need to be onsite for the entire project. The project has a flexible timeline, but ideally, the song should be delivered between June 2nd and June 5th.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the rapper to understand their vision and desired style for the song.
2. Write lyrics and compose melodies that capture the fun, bad, cool, gangsterish, and sexyish vibe.
3. Ensure the lyrics and overall song have the potential to go viral and attract millions of views and listens.
4. Incorporate elements of hip-hop culture and street life into the songwriting process.
5. Work closely with the rapper to refine and improve the song until it meets their expectations.
6. Provide guidance and creative input throughout the songwriting and recording process.
7. Maintain open communication with the rapper and address any concerns or feedback.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a hip-hop songwriter with a strong portfolio of successful songs.
2. Expertise in crafting lyrics and melodies that resonate with the hip-hop audience.
3. Familiarity with creating viral and commercially successful hip-hop songs.
4. Strong understanding of hip-hop culture, trends, and street life.
5. Ability to capture the desired fun, bad, cool, gangsterish, and sexyish vibe in the songwriting.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
7. Flexibility and adaptability to incorporate feedback and make revisions.
