About the Role
An individual managing multiple brand accounts is seeking a freelance video editor for a short-term project focused on creating engaging reel videos. This role involves editing and producing content that aligns with various industries and reflects the unique branding of each client. The ideal candidate will bring creativity and technical skill to craft compelling, brand-specific short-form video content suitable for social media platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce reel videos for multiple brands, ensuring each aligns with the specific brand identity and industry standards
- Collaborate with the project manager to understand the vision and requirements for each brand
- Select and compile appropriate footage, graphics, and audio elements for each reel
- Apply creative transitions, effects, and text overlays to enhance visual appeal
Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing, particularly in creating short-form content for social media
- Proficiency in professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of video editing styles and techniques
- Ability to adapt editing style to suit different brand personalities and industry norms
- Understanding of current trends in social media video content, especially reels
