About the Role
We are seeking a video editor on a part time basis for a digital marketing and media management service company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video editing, a creative mindset, and the ability to produce engaging and quality videos that resonate with our clients’ audiences. Key responsibilities include editing, producing quality videos, collaborating with the content team, writing video descriptions, creating thumbnails, ensuring content aligns with client brands, utilising various editing techniques, managing assets, staying updated with trends, meeting deadlines, and incorporating feedback to improve content.
Requirements
Qualifications for the role include proven experience as a video editor for YouTube, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels, proficiency in editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, understanding of social media platforms, creativity, detail orientation, storytelling skills, ability to work independently and in a team, organizational and time management skills, and excellent communication abilities. A portfolio showcasing video editing work is required. Preferred qualifications include experience with motion graphics, animation, SEO, and video optimization techniques. A Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field is a plus.
