About the Role
Our client, a company in the media industry is currently hiring for a part-time, long-term remote contract position for a junior to mid-level video editor. The primary responsibility of this role is to create short-form content primarily targeted towards Instagram. The remuneration for this position will be commensurate with the experience level of the selected candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and develop creative ideas for engaging short-form video content suitable for Instagram.
- Edit and produce high-quality videos using industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Incorporate visual effects, motion graphics, and other post-production techniques to enhance the overall quality and appeal of the videos.
- Ensure that the final video output adheres to the required specifications and guidelines for Instagram content.
Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing short-form content creation, preferably for social media platforms like Instagram.
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Excellent understanding of video editing techniques, including cutting, pacing, color grading, and audio mixing.
- Creative mindset and the ability to conceptualize and develop engaging visual stories.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
