About the Role

We are seeking a long-form video editor for an online platform aimed at disrupting the manufacturing industry with a transparent database of manufacturing information. The role involves reporting to the Head Video Manager, following editing guidelines to edit long-form videos (5-15 minutes), and collaborating cross-functionally. The ideal candidate is expected to contribute new ideas and work closely with management teams in executing creative strategies across social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide long-form video content for factory tours and other video campaigns across social media.
• Participate in creative brainstorming for new content strategies.
• Collaborate with management teams to execute and plan strategies.
• Ensure quality and creative standards are maintained across all long-form video outputs.

Requirements

• Portfolio consisting of at least 5 projects showcasing different video elements.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in the creative space as a freelancer or editor.
• Proficiency in video editing software: Davinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe After Effects, Soundly is an asset.
• Excellent typography skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for the fashion and entertainment industry.
• Highly analytical and detail-oriented with the willingness and ability to learn quickly.
• Proficiency in sound design is an asset.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Solution-oriented mindset and can-do attitude to overcome challenges.
