About the Role
A professional video production company specialising in corporate content is seeking a skilled mid-level video editor for a short-term project. The company produces high-quality visual content for businesses and organizations. This role involves creating a visually compelling five-minute corporate video using various multimedia elements. The ideal candidate will bring creativity and technical expertise to craft a polished final product that meets the client's objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into a cohesive five-minute corporate video
- Incorporate diverse visual elements including talking head footage, b-roll, still images, and other multimedia assets
- Apply appropriate transitions, effects, and color correction to enhance visual appeal
- Sync audio and ensure high-quality sound throughout the video
- Collaborate remotely with the production team to understand and execute the project vision
Requirements
- Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio of corporate video work
- Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Excellent understanding of storytelling through visual media
- Strong technical skills in video editing, including color correction and audio synchronization
- Ability to work efficiently with various file formats and multimedia assets
