About the Role
A company is seeking a talented mid-level video editor to join their team on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing a variety of corporate-style videos, including interviews and narrative pieces, while seamlessly incorporating B-roll footage. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to engaging visual storytelling for corporate clients.
Responsibilities:
- Edit corporate videos, including interviews and narrative pieces, to create compelling and professional final products
- Seamlessly integrate B-roll footage to enhance the visual storytelling and maintain viewer engagement
- Create smooth transitions and maintain a cohesive flow throughout the videos
- Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and creative direction
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in video editing, with a focus on corporate or commercial content
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating smooth, engaging narratives through video editing
- Excellent understanding of pacing, timing, and storytelling techniques in video production
