About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented video editor to help create and manage their social media presence. The selected candidate will be responsible for producing engaging, performance-focused content for platforms such as Instagram and YouTube. This long-term, remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of an athlete's online following through compelling visual storytelling.
Responsibilities:
- Create and edit 3-4 short-form video reels per week for platforms like Instagram
- Produce one long-form video every other week for YouTube
- Focus on highlighting the athlete's performance rather than verbal content
- Ensure all videos align with the athlete's brand and preferred style
- Optimise video content for various social media platforms
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in video editing (junior to mid-level)
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and YouTube
- Experience in creating both short-form (reels) and long-form video content
- Ability to edit performance-based content effectively, showcasing athletic skills and moments
