About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled video editor for a YouTube video project in the crime niche. This remote position offers the opportunity to edit a 7-10 minute video, with potential for ongoing collaboration. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating engaging content for YouTube, particularly in the true crime or investigative genre.
Responsibilities:
- Edit raw footage into a cohesive 7-10 minute YouTube video
- Create an engaging narrative structure for the crime-focused content
- Implement appropriate transitions, effects, and graphics
- Synchronize audio and ensure high-quality sound throughout the video
Requirements
- Junior to mid-level experience in video editing
- Proficiency in professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve)
- Understanding of YouTube video best practices and trends
- Ability to create engaging content in the crime or investigative niche
- Strong storytelling skills through video editing
