About the Role
A client developing an innovative TV pilot seeks a skilled video editor with expertise in facial manipulation and morphing effects. This short-term project involves creating a dynamic sizzle reel that showcases unique visual comedy elements through advanced face replacement techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble footage to create a compelling sizzle reel that aligns with the creative vision
- Execute advanced face morphing and lip synchronization effects, specifically focusing on facial replacement onto sumo wrestler footage
- Maintain smooth transitions and ensure natural movement in all face replacement sequences
- Colour grade and apply necessary post-production effects to maintain visual consistency
Requirements
- Proven expertise with facial tracking, morphing, and replacement techniques
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard video editing software (After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar)
- Strong understanding of lip sync techniques and facial animation principles
- Portfolio demonstrating previous work with face replacement or similar VFX projects
- Experience working with comedy or entertainment content preferred
