About the Role
Our client, a podcast/audio content platform is in need of a freelance sound engineer with expertise in audio mixing for an ongoing project. The primary responsibility will be to contribute to the company's audio series by mixing and enhancing the audio quality of their content.
Responsibilities:
- Mix and balance various audio elements (dialogue, music, sound effects, etc.) to create a cohesive and engaging listening experience.
- Enhance the overall audio quality by applying appropriate processing techniques, such as equalisation, compression, and noise reduction.
- Ensure consistent audio levels and tonal balance across different segments or episodes of the audio series.
- Collaborate with the content team to understand the creative vision and requirements for each project.
Requirements
- Mid-level experience in audio mixing and post-production, with a strong portfolio of relevant work.
- Proficiency in using digital audio workstations (DAWs) and audio editing software (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Audition, etc.).
- Expertise in applying various audio mixing techniques, such as equalization, compression, and dynamic processing.
- Excellent audio engineering skills and a keen ear for detail.
