About the Role

We are seeking a freelance social media specialist for a mortgage broker. The ideal candidate will be creative, tech-savvy, and will play a key role in crafting social media strategy and creating compelling content. You will primarily focus on creating and managing video content related to real estate investment projects, specifically fix and flip properties.

While most content creation can be performed remotely with a flexible schedule, occasional on-site visits to properties in Orange, Los Angeles, and San Diego counties will be required to capture high-quality visuals and detailed progress updates.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in video editing software (ideally with special effects capabilities)
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms and tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail and design
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Experience with social media advertising and budget management (a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (a plus)
