About the Role

A renowned organization with over 200 million monthly video views across its dynamic network, is seeking a remote Writer with expertise in script writing. The successful candidate will focus on creating engaging scripts for the organization's YouTube channel, specifically for entertainment and true crime content. This is a long-term, single project with potential for follow-up work, and each assignment will have its own timeline for delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Research and gather information from credible sources to develop factual and captivating scripts for YouTube videos and documentaries in the entertainment and true crime genres.
• Conceptualize and craft compelling narratives that engage viewers and maintain their interest throughout the content.
• Write clear, concise, and well-structured scripts that adhere to the organization's style guidelines and tone.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure scripts align with the overall creative vision and project requirements.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions to refine and polish scripts before final delivery.
• Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in the entertainment and true crime genres to maintain a fresh and relevant approach.
• Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality scripts within the assigned timelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a script writer, with a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional storytelling abilities and a deep understanding of the entertainment and true crime genres.
